Why 1K Phew and Timbaland's Collaboration Matters
1K Phew has built a sound that connects his East Atlanta musical roots with an openly Christian message. Timbaland has produced major records across hip-hop and pop for decades. Together, they bring a high-profile production partnership to Christian rap without asking listeners to give up the sound they enjoy.
In an interview covered by Rapzilla, Timbaland discussed wanting to use his gifts to glorify God. CCM Magazine also explored why the collaboration is notable for Christian music. For background on 1K Phew's music and story, visit his official Reach Records artist page.
Featured Song: NEW HEAVEN with Project Pat
One of the tracks we're especially excited about is “NEW HEAVEN,” featuring Project Pat. For longtime hip-hop fans, Project Pat is a familiar name from the Memphis and Southern rap scene, closely associated with the Three 6 Mafia era. Hearing him join 1K Phew and Timbaland on a faith-centered release is the kind of collaboration we love seeing.
And this is more than a surprise feature. Project Pat has spoken publicly about his Christian faith and outreach to incarcerated people. In a 2024 interview reported by WREG, he discussed sharing God's word through prison ministry; a 2026 report covered his faith-centered visit to a Mississippi correctional facility. That background makes his appearance on “NEW HEAVEN” especially meaningful.
At All In Faith, we believe music can open doors to conversations about the Gospel. We love seeing established artists bring their influence and God-given gifts into music that points people toward Jesus. Our prayer is that more artists continue sharing their faith boldly and using their platforms for something bigger than themselves.

More SEVEN TRUMPETS Songs to Preview
GIANTS
Potential use: Walk-up candidate. Try the opening and strongest hook for a short entrance; test the exact recording at field volume.
WALK ON WATER
Potential use: Pregame confidence. Biblical imagery makes this one worth considering when building a faith-centered warmup playlist.
SCRIPTURES
Potential use: Workout playlist. Its use of a familiar children's Christian melody within hip-hop production makes it a distinctive pick.
GOD FLOW
Potential use: Short walk-up candidate. A compact track worth checking for an immediate beat and a usable 10–20-second section.
SAFE!
Potential use: Warmup / gym. A track to audition for the pregame or training rotation, subject to full lyric and energy review.
How to Choose Christian Rap for Walk-Up Songs, Warmups and Workouts
A song that works for lifting weights may not work for a 15-second walk-up. For baseball or softball, test the beginning, a hook and a beat change. Ask the announcer how much time you get, and listen through stadium speakers if possible. For team warmups, look for sustained energy and a message that works for the whole roster.
Not every recording by a Christian artist is automatically appropriate for every youth team or venue. Check the exact version, featured verses and lyrics, then follow the facility's music policy. An exciting beat should never be the only reason to choose a track.
